HSE is seeking a Premium Sales & Service intern to support the Premium Sales & Service team in delivering world-class experience to premium clients, prospects, and partners. This role assists with premium inventory management, client service initiatives, event preparation, and sales outreach. The intern will gain hands-on experience in professional sports business operations, including hospitality, customer relationship management, and revenue-generation strategies within an NBA environment.

This is a paid, in-person internship. Each intern will be paid $15.00 per hour, with the ability to work 30 hours max per week. The 2026-2027 season long program runs from September 7, 2026—April 23, 2027.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with prospecting for new premium tickets leads through targeted research, database work, and outbound communication.
  • Help prepare sales materials, presentations, product information, and premium experience collateral.
  • Support the service team in delivering exceptional hospitality to premium clients, including suite owners, courtside members, and club seat holders.
  • Provide on-site event support on game nights—welcoming guests, addressing inquiries, resolving service issues, and assisting with premium hospitality activations.
  • Update and maintain CRM records to ensure accuracy of client information, interactions, and sales activities.
  • Assist with the coordination of premium events, including logistics, check-in, communications, and follow-up reporting.
  • Participate fully in the internship program, including workshops, speaker series, job shadow opportunities, and the intern project.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by manager

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities

To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate the following:

  • Recent college student or graduate with a degree in Business, Sport Management, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Male collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating in the HSE internship program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to interact with premium clients and corporate partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or event operations preferred.
