Marketing Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Position Overview
Hornets Sports & Entertainment are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role serves as a key operational partner to the marketing team, helping ensure campaigns are delivered on time, assets are organized, stakeholders are aligned, and reporting is maintained.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the execution and fulfillment of marketing campaigns including group, premium and other ticketing campaigns.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and approvals across Marketing, Creative, Digital, Ticket Sales, and other pertinent business units.
- Facilitate the production and distribution of marketing assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Support the development and maintenance of marketing calendars, campaign trackers, and project management systems.
- Schedule and coordinate stakeholder meetings and craft recap notes.
- Maintain organized records of marketing assets, creative files, contracts, and operational documentation.
- Compile campaign performance reports and assist with tracking key marketing metrics and outcomes.
- Support the creation of post-campaign recaps and presentations.
- Assist with quality assurance reviews of marketing materials, digital content, and promotional messaging.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Marketing department as needed.
- Participate in game nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as required by the sports and entertainment calendar.
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, or related field.
- Must be able to work part-time hours, including select evenings, weekends, holidays, and game-day events as scheduled.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to lift and transport marketing materials (25–50 lbs) as needed.
