HSE is seeking a Game Presentation intern to assist the Game Presentation team in the organization of Hornets home games and events, researching and planning for future events as well as other department needs.

This is a paid, in-person internship. Each intern will be paid $15.00 per hour, with the ability to work a minimum of 20 hours, maximum of 30 hours per week. The Season 2026-2027 program runs from September 7, 2026 - April 23, 2027.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting Game Presentation with all aspects of Hornets home games and game days
  • Assisting with various entertainment teams and color guard bookings as needed
  • Help with day-of rehearsals and contact people for various groups
  • Entertainment coordination, game day props, and set up
  • Responsible for game day prep including props, entertainment locker rooms, and other setup as assigned
  • Attend meetings and creatively contribute to brainstorming and research projects
  • Participate fully in the internship program, including workshops, speaker series, job shadow opportunities, and the intern project.

Required Skills/ Experience/ and Abilities

To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate the following:

  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a collegiate degree
  • Male collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating in the HSE internship program.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Able to work on sensitive projects and maintain confidential information
  • Able to work games and events on nights and weekends
  • Ideal candidate will have hospitality or event management experience
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Knowledge of basketball preferred
