The Greensboro Swarm (GSO), member of the NBA G League, affiliate of HSE, is seeking a Corporate Partnership and Ticket Sales intern to serve as a vital part of assisting the Greensboro Swarm sales team in multiple aspects of selling, fulfilling and executing sales initiatives. The intern gains hands-on experience in sales and marketing through implementing and planning.

This is a paid, in-person internship based in Greensboro, NC. Interns will be paid $15.00 per hour, with the ability to work thirty (30) hours max per week. The 2025- 2026 season program runs from September 8, 2025, through April 24, 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating sales folders and organizing sales materials.
  • Develop sales lead lists to support prospecting efforts.
  • Help create sales presentation decks for client meetings.
  • Contribute to concept meetings and brainstorming new sales strategies.
  • Support the fulfillment of partner needs and assist in developing recap decks.
  • Assist with game night responsibilities, including client hospitality and event execution.
  • Help fulfill service needs for group and season ticket accounts.
  • Make sales calls to potential group ticket buyers and prospects.
  • Help fulfill fan experience requests, ensuring outstanding customer experience.
  • Participate in the full internship program, including workshops, speaker series, job shadowing, and working on an intern project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities

To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate the following:

  • Strong interest in all aspects of sales and customer service.
  • Male collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating in the HSE internship program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be personable, enthusiastic, motivated and energetic.

  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks when given clear goals and objectives.
