Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment is a multifaceted sports and entertainment business that brings people together to experience music, sports, and culture through our platforms, teams and venue. BSE recently launched a media company, Type.Set.Brooklyn, that champions the spirit and attitude of Brooklyn and amplifies it to the world. Rooted in digital storytelling across all channels and formats, we will cultivate a highly-engaged global audience by reaffirming the connective threads that tie pop culture, sports, music, fashion, and food not just to Brooklyn geographically, but in how they’re embedded into its DNA.

SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior Social Video Producer to lead the development, execution, and optimization of short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll own the Type.Set.Brooklyn TikTok account, lead video production from concept through post, and help shape the systems, structure, and team around vertical content.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Conceptualize, develop, and produce short-form video formats, series, and evergreen concepts for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts 
  • Manage the Type.Set.Brooklyn TikTok account, oversee growth strategy and day-to-day publishing  
  • Oversee and improve social video production workflows, including pre-production planning, shoot execution, and post-production timelines 
  • Serve as lead producer and point of contact for social video shoots: building shot lists, managing on-site production, and working closely with the internal production team and stakeholders 
  • Work closely with the platform and social leads to ensure the team is on top of platform and landscape trends, best practices, and new products around social video.  
  • Strategize around key content tentpoles and lead development of content plans for execution. Manage outreach to secure credentials when needed.  
  • Partner with production management team to budget and make sure shoots are well resourced.  
  • Analyze content performance and partner with the Director of Social and Director of Content to apply learnings and optimize future content.  
  • Ensure short-form content needs are baked into all phases of long-form video production, working with producers to develop and capture with vertical-first output in mind. 
  • Edit raw footage or oversee editors to complete polished short-form content, maintaining pacing, style, and tone aligned with each brand.  
  • Ideate evergreen and rapid-fire content concepts for tentpole events and rapid-fire video concepts built around talent  
  • Work on camera as talent when applicable or work off camera as a producer when applicable 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • 5-7  years of social media, video production, or editing experience with a publisher
  • Experience managing small teams of producers, editors, shooters, etc.  
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and on a flexible schedule
  • Strong knowledge of music, pop culture, sports culture and food culture is preferred
  • Expertise with social media measurement tools and reporting 
  • Self-management skills and a take-charge attitude 
  • Willingness to jump in when and where needed in service of team success 
  • Willingness to complete an edit test and submit a video to showcase skillset and ability

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Must have proven success with developing and producing vertical video for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts 
  • Must be highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, CapCut, and other in-app editing software 
  • Strong eye for visual storytelling, knowing when to cut, when to pause, and how to engage a viewer within the first few seconds.
  • Passionate about content trends with knowledge of current and emerging social products, editorial formats, emerging creators, and platform features 
  • Able to work independently in post-production with minimal oversight  

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to travel on occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE:

$75,000-$95,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
