SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial, execution-oriented leader to drive real estate–led growth initiatives across our platform. This role sits at the intersection of real estate, corporate development, and business incubation, and will be responsible for identifying, underwriting, securing, and launching venues and commercial ventures that align with our strategic vision.
The ideal candidate is a builder and operator – someone who can evaluate opportunities, drive transactions from diligence through closing, and then roll up their sleeves post-close to help stand up the business. This role requires strong real estate judgment, financial and strategic rigor, and the ability to operate end-to-end in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Real Estate Strategy & Deal Execution
- Identify, source, and evaluate potential real estate to buy or lease that align with current and future projects.
- Conduct full transactional due diligence on prospective real estate, including financial underwriting, legal review, zoning and land use analysis, and market assessment.
- Develop valuation frameworks and investment theses, assessing strategic fit, risk, and financial upside.
- Drive and support transactions end-to-end, including structuring and negotiating LOIs and definitive agreements, coordinating internal approvals, and partnering with legal and financial teams through closing.
- Coordinate with external parties (e.g., architects, engineers, contractors) to lead venue feasibility and buildout, from concept design through close-out
- Work with the internal owner’s representative for capital projects, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule and budget
Business Formation & Post-Close Execution
- Drive and support post-closing, transitioning projects from venue possession to operating businesses.
- Develop business plans, launch schedules, operating models, staffing plans, and governance structures in partnership with platform teams.
- Support early-stage execution during pre-opening and initial operations.
- Track performance against underwriting assumptions and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Strategic & Entrepreneurial Initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership on venue, hospitality, and commercial growth initiatives.
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to inform site selection and expansion strategy.
- Prepare investment memos and executive presentations summarizing opportunities and recommendations.
- Operate entrepreneurially in ambiguous environments, building structure and processes as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 7–10+ years of experience across real estate, corporate development, investments, or operating roles.
- 3+ years of experience in the real estate sector
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to move from strategy to execution with high ownership.
- Strong valuation and deal structuring skills.
- Team player that can also work independently
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience, judgment, and a bias toward action.
WHO YOU ARE
- Thinks like an owner and operates with accountability.
- Comfortable evaluating zoning documents, negotiating deal terms, and building business plans.
- Thrives in lean, fast-moving environments.
