As it expands its existing portfolio, BSE now includes a media portfolio including Type.Set.Brooklyn and BK Mag, as well as Brooklyn Wine Club, and a hospitality business developing several location-based entertainment properties.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW 

The Fellowship is a 12-month paid program for motivated and innovative recent college graduates. It is designed to build core skills, gain business insights, and get exposure to the many facets of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.  

The Products & Experiences Fellow will provide support to three key functions: Media, Merchandise/Retail, and Entertainment. During their Fellowship Program, they will work on media initiatives like BK Mag and Type.Set.Brooklyn by supporting content creation, sales development, and performance tracking. Through merchandise development and retail performance analysis for teams including the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, the Fellow will assist in reinventing the arena store experience. Additionally, the Fellow will provide support to the development of our entertainment business and operations optimization for groups such as Ellie and the Brooklynettes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Media: BK Mag, Type.Set.Brooklyn

  • Contribute to the development of content ideas/concepts
  • Assist with the content production process
  • Assist with sales development process (BK MAG)
  • Support the performance tracking process

Merchandise/Retail: Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, Long Island Nets

  • Support the merchandise development/buying process
  • Assist with the arena store experience reinvention project
  • Assist with tracking retail/sale performance

Entertainment: Ellie, Timeless Torches, Brooklynettes, and Team Hype

  • Support the Ellie business development project
  • Assist with the business management & operations optimization project for the Entertainment teams (Ellie, Brooklynettes, etc.)

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Entertainment or Media
  • Passionate about pop culture and entertainment

  • An excellent communicator who enjoys relationship building, collaborating cross functionally in a fast-paced environment, and championing culture within a group setting

  • Applicants must have prior work experience in the department to which they apply. Prior work experience can include internships, projects, volunteer work, involvement in paid and unpaid activities of significance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer

PROGRAM DURATION

June 2, 2026 – May 28, 2027

SALARY

$20.00 per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position primarily works in an office environment; however, our program fellows may be expected to attend games and events in a paid capacity as requested. Games and events may take place on evenings, weekends and holidays.
