Job Description
This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Long Island Nets Manager of Basketball Operations, including practices, games. This role is essential in ensuring the players, coaches, and staff have a clean, organized, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down practice equipment (basketballs, towels, pads, fridges, coolers etc.).
- Assist in the completion of laundry (uniforms, practice gear, and towels)
- Support players with minor errands and logistical tasks as assigned.
- Prepare and maintain locker rooms before and after practices, games, and travel.
- Load and unload team gear for home and road games.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment rooms, lockers, and courtside areas.
- Assist coaching and training staff during practices and games as needed.
- Support visiting team operations when needed, including locker room setup and breakdown.
- Act as a positive, and professional representative of the organization at all times.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods.
- Previous experience in athletic operations or team support preferred.
Salary
$17/hour
