SUMMARY

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day technology support for the company by solving and repairing issues with computer hardware and software. The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in ensuring employees have the technology they need to work efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with an unparalleled work ethic and customer-focused approach.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide end user support for all hardware and software.
  • Coordinate technology onboarding and offboarding.
  • Support technology needs on game day for all teams.
  • Configure, deploy, and support hardware and software.
  • Maintain technical proficiency on all company end-user computing platforms.
  • Design, document, and update build instructions based on new software and policies.
  • Update and maintain information in the company support ticketing system.
  • Assist with technology installations.
  • Maintain desktop and device compliance policies.
  • Staff the IT support help desk.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Certification a plus, but not vital: CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, MacOS, network connectivity, asset management and tagging, life cycle management, and deployment services.
  • Ability to reliably diagnose and repair computer hardware and software problems.
  • Excellent at protecting the confidentiality/privacy of others and company documents and records.
  • Experience leading a wide variety of technology projects and responsibilities.
  • Enjoy working with others to identify and tackle problems.
  • Passion for customer-service and helping others use technology effectively.
  • Stronger communicator with prior experience detailing technical issues and training others.
  • An extraordinary teammate who thrives when collaborating with others.
  • Comfortable delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Infrequent Traveler (<5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on a limited basis. Travel may include trips between Barclays Center and HSS Training Center. 

SALARY RANGE:

$60,000-$70,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
