Role Overview:

The Director, Partner Solutions will lead platform and proposal development for the Global Partnerships group supporting new business, upsells and renewals. This role will require a highly collaborative leader with an inclusive approach that works side by side with the sales and partnership marketing team to develop creative marketing solutions for prospects and renewals. This position will serve as a leader with vision for the Global Partnerships team to fuel the creation of outstanding activations and coordinated partner campaigns that cultivate alignment between BSE’s properties and our partner brands. The Director will lead all aspects of the Partner solutions and will work directly with a dedicated marketing creative team responsible for: conceptualization, platform development, presentation scripting as needed, partner creative, meeting collateral, and inclusion of research/analytics for the Brooklyn Nets, NY Liberty, Barclays Center, Long Island Nets, NetsGC and other affiliated properties.

This is a highly creative role, responsible for stimulating innovation and demonstrating a solutions oriented mentality to drive critical metrics for BSE properties and our partners. This position will focus on supporting the Global Partnerships while coordinating with key partners across the company to bring the objectives of our partners to life in impactful ways. The Director will be a key contributor in the department’s pursuit of achieving innovative partner solutions that achieve partner needs and ultimately generate revenue on behalf of all BSE Global properties.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION – What will you do?: 

  • In collaboration with the sales and partnership marketing teams, lead brainstorms and champion ideas from conception to pitch.
  • Build breakthrough partnership solutions that achieve partner needs and generate revenue on behalf of BSE Global Properties.
  • Drive partnership storytelling and coordinate the consistent delivery of high-quality, impactful narratives across all sales materials (one-sheets, decks, case studies, sizzle videos, etc.)
  • Supervise the prioritization queue of all strategic and creative needs for partners and prospects, while ensuring that timelines are met and staff resources are accurately allocated.
  • Liaise with the Marketing, Digital, Creative, technology, Game Presentation, Community and D&I teams to craft thoughtful partner solutions, vet assets and support company priorities
  • Support the Partnership Marketing team with all renewal and upsell materials, as needed
  • Join partner and prospect meetings to help pitch ideas and contextualize platforms, as appropriate
  • Serve as a trusted resource and collaborator for the Global Partnership team.
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports, encouraging career development and growth opportunities with a focus upon department and individual goal setting.
  • Guide creative team on overall visuals of all sales materials.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE – Who are you?: 

  • 7-10 years of experience working in integrated marketing, sponsorship, sales, strategic partnerships, account management, and/or at agencies (media, experiential, brand consulting)
  • An inspiring leader and innovator across the Sports, Media, Entertainment and Live Events landscapes
  • An intellectually curious, creative, passionate storyteller and problem solver
  • A Strategist with a deep understanding of how driving brand objectives can fuel revenue generation
  • Digitally savvy with expertise around Social platforms, branded content and emerging technologies
  • Possess sharp analytical skills with a proclivity to leverage data to advise decision making
  • Proficient in process and project management– ability to plan, organize, prioritize, build structure and implement a strategic vision on deadline and with attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable teammate with capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in leading/developing staff, motivating a team to achieve goals and managing up
  • Skilled in establishing and growing meaningful, trust-based internal and external relationships
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator (including presentation capabilities)
  • Significant knowledge of industry trends and ability to serve as a subject area authority
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Sports Management, Business or Marketing preferred

 

SALARY RANGE

$120,000 - $140,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to travel, attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
