Job Summary:
The Hawks Studios Producer/Editor will report to the Director of Content. They will support the Hawks Studios department across video production needs and creative projects. This position will lead the development and execution of the Atlanta Hawks, College Park Skyhawks, and State Farm Arena content.
This role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA. You will need to be able to travel to Atlanta Hawks office locations/and travel for video shoots in the Atlanta area when scheduled. This position is expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Film and edit high-level video content for The Atlanta Hawks, State Farm Arena, and the College Park Skyhawks
Concept at a high level, integrating the needs of multiple departments and creative challenges
Create detailed shot lists, question lists, and write scripts for creative projects
Develop and execute in-arena video content series
Conduct interviews with players, coaches, and staff solo or alongside multiple producers
Able to incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders
Adeptly manages projects and schedules on our Adobe Workfront platform
Proactively reaches out to stakeholders to facilitate project execution
Log, tag, and source footage for video projects through our Media Asset Management system, Iconik
Ideate and brainstorm engaging social content
Assist the Director of Content in the execution of creative branded content, helping elevate our creative and find areas to help us improve
Flexible to work evenings and/or weekends, depending on events that are taking place
Handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
1-2 years of experience working with a creative department (collegiate or professional sports) preferred
3-5 years of overall experience working in creative video production
Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
Expertise in color correction of LOG footage
Expert with Cinema Cameras such as Sony FX6, FX3, etc
Understanding of lighting and audio needs for sit-down interviews
Able to incorporate motion graphics, titles, and other design assets into video content
Experience with detail-oriented production and post-production workflows, able to collaborate with several producers
Strong communication skills
Keen eye for storytelling
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
Strong time management skills and attention to detail are required
Must be a self-starter who exhibits a strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability
Ability to incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders
Experience working in professional/collegiate sports is highly preferred
Familiarity/Passion for the NBA and the sport of basketball
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of work.
Working Conditions:
Environment: Office setting, arena for gamedays, and travel for video shoots.
Hours: Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
