ROLE:
The Vice President of Revenue is responsible for maximizing sales revenue for the Skyhawks, while training team members and preparing them for a career in the sports sales industry.  This position will also assist with the development and execution of the overall corporate partnerships, season ticket membership, group sales, individual ticket and retention sales strategies.


Primary responsibilities include achieving the ticket sales and corporate partnership revenue goals for the Skyhawks, training and development of the full-time ticket sales representatives, corporate partnership team as well as establishing relationships with major accounts.  
This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Oversee ticket sales & corporate partnership function including development of annual budget, goals and objectives 
  • Represent the organization as a liaison along with the Head of Operations with all key College Park constituencies, including government, community and civic leaders
  • Serve as a liaison between G League Business Operations and Hawks Basketball Operations department
  • Serve as a liaison between the NBA League Office and the SkyHawks
  • Work closely with Atlanta Hawks ticketing and analytics staff to develop integrated ticket campaigns, group ticket plans and optimal pricing strategies
  • Develop and implement a plan for increasing Corporate Partnerships and local sponsorship revenue 
  • Identify and engage with local businesses to build and strengthen relationships with community and business leaders
  • Collaborate effectively with the SkyHawks head of operations on all day to day business operations that impact revenue
  • Work with Head of Operations and arena management on capital expenditures and ongoing facility maintenance requirements and upgrades
  • Attend onsite and offsite sales meetings with sales team member(s) to provide additional support and guidance
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Three to five years prior experience in sales.  Prior ticket sales supervisory responsibilities strongly preferred.
  • Some experience with ticketing programs (Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work extended days and hours, including holidays and weekends. (50+ of these throughout year with events and games).
  • Present themselves in a professional manner, and able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with high character and strong work ethic
  • Highly motivated with a passion for sales, leadership, recruitment and development. 
  • Represent the College Park Skyhawks in a positive, professional fashion to all clients and the general public.
  • Occasional travel is required.
