The Seasonal Assistant, Group Experience position is an integral role for the Group Sales team as this person will assist the manager and sales department with the day-to-day initiatives and game night responsibilities for the 25-26 season. This person will gain first-hand knowledge on group sales initiatives, data capture, research projects, inventory management, various ticket packages and implementing game night fan experiences for an NBA team. Additionally, the Seasonal Assistant, Group Experiences will assist Jr. Hawks Program which is a uniform program for youth basketball leagues that includes ticket/fan experience benefits and is ran through the Group Sales Department.

What the Seasonal Assistant, Group Experiences will be responsible for:

  • Assist with Group sales initiatives and organize processes as requested
  • Compile various inventory reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Assist with promotional item inventory and distribution process
  • Assist group sales department and other sales departments with projects as they arise
  • Assists on game night responsibilities for fan experience activation, revenue-generating initiatives, or retention events
  • Assist with Jr. Hawks uniform orders and vendor submissions
  • Assist with Jr. Hawks initiatives and organize processes as requested
  • Research and organize market trends for group prospecting opportunities

What the Seasonal Assistant, Group Experiences must have:

  • Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation).
  • Academic and/or Work experiences related to one or more of the following Sports Management, Marketing, or Business Management/Administration.
  • General knowledge and experience of uniform and/or retail processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Archtics and CRM preferred
  • Previous experience in ideating on objectives, goals and opportunities related to Sales.
  • Must be organized, creative, enthusiastic, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by leadership.
