Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on leader to inspire and guide our retail team while delivering our S.M.I.L.E. service culture — Southern Hospitality, Make a Moment, Individuals Matter, Listen & Learn, and Empowerment. As a Lead, Retail Brand Ambassador, you will engage guests, oversee store operations, and coach team members to deliver exceptional service and maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

  • Engage guests to create a welcoming and personalized shopping experience.

  • Promote Hawks merchandise by recommending products and upselling.

  • Demonstrate our service culture in every interaction.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise, train, and coach Retail Brand Ambassadors to maximize sales and service.

  • Assist with onboarding and product training for new team members.

  • Provide feedback and support to help the team meet goals.

Store Operations

  • Open and close retail locations, including cash handling and securing keys.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.

  • Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and organized.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of 4+ in retail, hospitality, or a related guest service environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different guest interactions and situations.

  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, punctuality, and reliability.

  • Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and at least 80% of scheduled events monthly.

  • Ability to stand for 4+ hours and lift/move up to 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.

  • Reliable transportation.
