A professional basketball team and state-of-the-art arena/entertainment venue that specializes in creating memorable experiences for each guest we interact with. The Basketball Court Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all court users. This position requires you to be a self-starter and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Court Maintenance & Repair

• Monitor the basketball court and other basketball areas as assigned to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with facility standards
• Check for wear and tear, including cracks, loose floor panels, or uneven surfaces, and promptly report issues
• Keep the court and other basketball spaces as assigned and surrounding areas clean by performing routine maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
• Perform regular cleaning to prevent slipping hazards and maintain a polished playing surface.
• Communicate with management to report issues and suggest improvements.
• Respond quickly to spills, leaks, or accidents to maintain a safe playing environment.

Facility Cleanliness & Inventory

• Watch for and report any signs of pests to ensure the facility remains clean and inviting.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and request replenishments before stock runs low.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Must be physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
   

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in sports facility operations or a similar role is a plus

Working Conditions:

• Environment: Primarily indoor – moving space to space as directed.
• Hours: Part-time, with flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
