Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns for key ticketing initiatives, promotions, theme nights and fan engagement efforts.
- Own the campaign lifecycle – including kick-off timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and post-campaign wrap up.
- Ensure campaigns are rooted in insights and aligned to departmental priorities, business objectives and the Nationals brand.
- Serve as the day-today-project manager for assigned campaigns, ensuring that assets, approvals, and communications stay on track.
- Own the email marketing calendar – including strategy, content planning, creative coordination, deployment, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with Business Strategy to develop segmentation strategies and A/B testing plans to improve performance over time.
- Serve as the trafficking lead across digital, social and owned media – ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Coordinate contracts and other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience
- Solid experience in sports/entertainment or a fast-paced Direct to Consumer brand; ad agency experience is also relevant
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions:
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Experience with project management software
- Strong written communication skills, especially for email copy and creative briefs
- Ability to interpret marketing data and translate into actionable insights
- Familiarity with trafficking processes for paid media and broadcast
- Experience using email platforms
- Experience with social media marketing a plus
- Experience with video production a plus
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Physical/Environmental Requirements
Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require occasional weekend, holiday and/or evening work. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
Compensation
The projected annual salary range for this position is $64,890.00 - $75,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
