Reporting to the Executive Director of Content and Broadcasting, the Production and Broadcast Coordinator is a highly organized individual responsible for supporting the Curly W Productions and Broadcasting departments. The Production and Broadcast Coordinator will be responsible for the project management of video including but not limited to writing treatments and scripts, coordinating shoots including securing locations and talent, and serving as a production assistant/grip on shoots. Occasionally this individual will help process dub requests and complete minor video editing assignments. On the broadcasting side, this individual will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Content and Broadcasting with the logistics of broadcasting schedules between the club and MLB for TV and Radio, communication with radio affiliates, communication with broadcast talent and regional sports network teams, and the coordination of live stream broadcast events at Nationals Park.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project manage Curly W Productions video projects including updating and maintaining project management software in Airtable, tracking edits, and deliverables.
- Coordinate Curly W Productions video shoots including securing locations and talent.
- Write treatments and scripts as assigned.
- Log videos, help manage media library
- Process dub requests and complete minor editing projects as assigned.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of cameras and equipment for larger video shoots.
- Broadcast responsibilities:
- Coordinate broadcast schedule logistics and keep track of broadcast talent schedules in Airtable.
- Coordinate trafficking of radio and TV ads with broadcast partners
- Disseminate marketing live reads and graphics to radio partners
- Coordinate Spring Training broadcast schedule and live radio show logistics
- Coordinate broadcast travel and fill-in host schedules
- Disseminate talking points to broadcast talent each homestand
- Coordinate content deliverables between broadcast partners, community and philanthropies, corporate partnership, social media, and scoreboard teams.
- Responsible for procuring tickets, credentials and parking for game day business requests.
- Provides administrative support for all department needs such as maintaining budgets, processing department invoices, ordering items, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- 1-3 years’ experience as a production assistant or project manager
- 1-3 years’ experience as a producer or writer in a television or video production setting
- 1-3 years’ experience with non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere).
- Experience/familiarity with project management software (Airtable) a plus.
- Experience with professional video cameras a plus.

- Must feel comfortable interacting with high profile clients.
Preferred:
- College or professional sports experience.
- Knowledge of MLB policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of non-linear editing equipment.(Adobe Premiere)
Physical/Environmental Requirements
- Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
- Gameday Seasonal: Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Compensation:
The projected annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
