Position Summary: The successful Custodian’s responsibilities, job duties, and primary tasks include assisting the day-to-day, event, and post-event cleaning operations, including janitorial services, and trash removal. This role requires the completion of all assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the cleaning of The Ripken Experience Aberdeen complex from a day-to-day, pre-event, during event, and post-event perspective.

• Assist with all cleaning operations in trash removal and janitorial services.

• Complete all job duties as assigned.

• Be reliable and ensure regular attendance for designated shifts.

• Always deliver excellent work and maintain high standards, regardless of the situation.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Posse’s cleaning product knowledge and proper use of products.

• Strong detail-orientation, with ability to problem-solve.

• A friendly personality and excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and high-energy.

• Work schedule will vary; nights and weekends will be required based on business needs.

• Absorb training and demonstrate the initiative, desire, and drive to uphold the values established by the Ripken name and brand, working with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently.

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and complete tasks independently.

• Ability to manage time effectively while working independently or as a team.

Preferred:

• Preferred experience in custodial/housekeeping services in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a sports venue or large meeting venues.

• Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogens regulation.

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:

• Perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, while projecting a positive Company image.

• Stand and/or walk during entire shift in all types of weather conditions.

• Lift and/or carry no less than 50 lbs.; ability to reach and bend.

• Recognize and avoid all hazards which may include, but not limited to slipping, tripping, and falling.

• Adhere to Ripken policies and procedures.

• Work well with management, staff, and customers.
