Position Summary:
As an admissions employee, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for guests entering our baseball facility. This team member is responsible for ticket sales, scanning, customer service, and ensuring smooth entry procedures for all visitors, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
Sell tickets and memberships using the facility’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
Scan tickets and verify passes for entry to games, events, and training sessions.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
Answer questions regarding events, schedules, pricing, and facility policies.
Monitor entry lines and help manage crowd flow to ensure timely and safe admissions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the admissions area.
Communicate effectively with security, operations, and event staff.
Report any issues or irregularities to the supervisor or security personnel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior customer service or admissions experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor work settings at a baseball stadium or training facility.
Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and large crowds.
