Position Summary:

Assist the Facilities team in providing general maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager to keep the complex in top condition.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain facility assets, including buildings and equipment.
• Perform general care and maintenance of artificial playing surfaces, mounds, and bases.
• Clean clubhouse, restrooms, and outdoor areas of the park before, during, and after events.
• Empty and remove trash cans throughout the complex.
• Remove loose trash from the complex, including the parking lot.
• Tend to water and Gatorade coolers in each dugout during programming.
• Perform any other duties assigned to ensure the success of the complex.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to have reliable transportation to be at work as early as 6 am, and stay as late as 12 am.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions given by any full-time staff member.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to learn and be responsible for new tasks as assigned.
• Ability to be held accountable, following through on commitments, producing timely work to required standards, and pitching in to complete tasks.
• Pride of workmanship.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Routine exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions.
