Position Summary

Cooperstown All Star village is seeking responsible, friendly, and efficient Servers, that are attentive to food and beverage service to guests, athletes, coaches, and families. This role supports a highenergy, fastpaced seasonal environment and plays a key part in ensuring a positive dining experience for all.

Servers take guest orders, deliver food and beverages accurately, maintain clean and organized service areas, and uphold all health and safety standards. The position requires strong communication skills, a guest-focused attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team during peak dining periods. Servers are expected to maintain professionalism, handle high-volume service with ease, and contribute to an enjoyable and memorable experience for all guests throughout the tournament season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests and provide excellent table service throughout their visit

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Deliver food promptly and ensure accuracy of all orders.

  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and service stations.

  • Process payments and handle POS transactions.

  • Provide a positive, welcoming experience for all guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Team oriented attitude and strong guest service focus.

Preferred Requirements

  • Food safety, ServSafe, or relevant hospitality certifications a plus.

  • Full-time availability with flexibility for peak periods, opening days, and event

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work long shifts in high-volume settings and meet physical demands (standing 8+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitive tasks).

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. (cases, equipment).

  • Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and peak tournament periods.

  • Routinely exposed to varying weather, dust/particles, and high-volume kitchen conditions.
