Position Summary:
The Team Laundry Attendant is responsible for the laundering of team uniforms during their stay at camp. This role includes washing, drying, and properly returning baseball uniforms in a timely and efficient manner to ensure players are game-ready each day. The attendant will follow proper laundry procedures, handle items with care, and maintain a clean and organized laundry area throughout each shift. This position operates during third shift / overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in picking up and delivering the team laundry
Wash, dry and return uniforms to the proper laundry bag
Help with bunkhouse cleaning as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
Detail-oriented and thorough
Must be able to accurately count and record uniforms and inventory
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
Must be available to work overnight / third shift hours.
Preferred:
Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
Ability to communicate in basic English preferred.
Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and bending
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle
