Position Summary

The Team Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a high-volume dining facility serving athletes, coaches, and staff. This leadership role ensures exceptional food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and efficiency while supporting proper nutrition and fueling performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example with professionalism, energy, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and support staff during meal service

  • Ensure all food is presented according to quality, portion, and nutritional standards

  • Monitor dining hall flow to maintain efficient service during peak meal periods

  • Support proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures (ServSafe standards)

  • Coordinate with culinary team to maintain product availability and replenishment

  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to uphold service excellence

  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and productivity goals

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and athlete-focused dining environment

  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally

  • Support inventory control and proper storage procedures

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of food service supervisory experience (high-volume preferred)

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • ServSafe Certification preferred
