Position Summary:

The Parking Attendant is responsible for managing vehicle flow and parking operations during the summer season at Cooperstown All Star Village. This role ensures a safe, organized, and welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct vehicles to designated parking areas in an efficient and safe manner.
• Monitor parking lots to ensure proper use of spaces and maintain traffic flow.
• Provide friendly assistance and directions to guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist with parking logistics and high-traffic periods.
• Communicate clearly and professionally using a two-way radio.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or maintenance needs within parking areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of parking lots and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in high-traffic situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in parking operations, traffic control, or customer service.
• Experience working in event or hospitality environments.

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:

• Primarily outdoor position; may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
