Position Summary:
The Bunkhouse Cleaner will clean, restock, and?maintain?bunkhouse rooms?and public areas?in accordance with?all cleaning procedures, standards, safety, security?rules?and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.??
Key Responsibilities:
Receives a?list?of assigned rooms from manager and prioritizes rooms needing early cleaning?
Checks the inventory of?cleaning?closets?and restocks any necessary supplies?
Removes?soiled linens and blankets from each assigned room
Wipes surfaces in?room, such as windowsills, beds, and storage containers
Vacuums?and mops floors
Ensures room meets company standards with a final walkaround
Notifies?maintenance?department of needed maintenance or repairs?
Report any missing/found articles,?damage?or merchandise problems to manager?
Performs other related duties as assigned?
Qualifications:
Required:
Detail-oriented and thorough?
Ability to perform consistent work to the?highest of?standards
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to stand for extended periods
Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
Preferred:
Sufficient education and literacy are needed to?identify?and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
Ability to communicate in basic English preferred
Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:
Prolonged?periods?standing and walking and?frequently?pulling, pushing, and bending
Must be able to?lift up?to?20?pounds at times?
Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle
