Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our Accounting and Finance team during the summer. This role will provide hands-on experience working with revenue data across multiple systems, supporting financial reporting, and helping to improve processes in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording and reconciling daily Food & Beverage and Retail sales from multiple POS systems into the accounting platform (Sage), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Track, compile, and organize revenue data from various sources to support reporting and financial analysis
• Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving data inconsistencies across systems and reports
• Support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized processes for revenue tracking and reporting
• Participate in training initiatives and proactively recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
• Provide support to other areas of the Accounting and Finance team as needed, including ad hoc projects and assignments

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization; pivot tables a plus)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and problem-solve
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Prior internship or accounting-related experience is a plus, but not required
