Strategy Manager Fellow

The Strategy Manager Fellow is a one year, post MBA fellowship designed for emerging leaders who want to accelerate their impact in the sports and entertainment industry. The role is aimed at individuals with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the leadership potential to drive high visibility, cross functional initiatives that shape organizational direction.

The fellow will work directly with teams across the business and take ownership of strategic projects that influence long‑term growth. The fellowship blends hands‑on problem solving with structured development, offering MBA graduates a rare opportunity to apply their training in a dynamic, high‑profile environment. The fellowship is structured to give MBA graduates broad exposure, meaningful responsibility, and accelerated learning.

Overview 
The Strategy team is a trusted partner in the development and execution of long- and short-range strategies, working cross-functionally with the entire business on key initiatives. Examples of work this role may tackle, include: 
  • Supporting leaders through a process to develop a 3-year organizational strategy 
  • Helping departments translate the 3-year strategy into an actionable annual project plan 
  • Working with ticketing, marketing, and partnerships to develop and execute a strategy to increase the number of corporate season ticket members 
  • Drive growth and efficiency by exploring digital transformation and emerging technologies. Conduct research on innovations (e.g., AI) and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement relevant applications across the business
     
Responsibilities 

Support strategic planning and execution for TBJ Business Operations and individual departments (ticketing, marketing & sales, fan experience & concessions, partnerships, and game day operations) by: 
  • Outlining objectives and defining KPIs 
  • Identifying and assessing opportunities 
  • Developing and leading execution plans 

Support cross-functional teams to solve important business challenges by: 
  • Ensuring a common understanding of the goals and objectives 
  • Developing robust approaches 
  • Soliciting involvement and input from relevant stakeholders 
  • Designing solutions and supporting implementation 

Own and execute strategic initiatives by: 
  • Identifying and framing problems 
  • Conducting market research and gathering input from stakeholders of all levels 
  • Performing quantitative analyses 
  • Summarizing recommendations and gaining alignment on next steps 

Contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy & Analytics team by: 
  • Developing new capabilities 
  • Staying up to date with industry trends 
  • Playing an active role in the development of team culture
     
Qualifications 
  • MBA degree from a recognized institution is required 
  • Must be enrolled in an MBA program with anticipated completion in Spring 2026 or have recently completed an MBA degree. 
  • 4+ years' experience in business analytics, management consulting, strategy and operations, or a related field 
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges 
  • Desire to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business 
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders 
  • Critical thinker with an ability to effectively communicate complex concepts 
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to support decision-making 
  • Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past work 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required 
 
Salary: The anticipated base compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. Actual base pay offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors, including individual experience, education, skills, and organizational needs.

Position Status: New - please be advised this position is required to be in office at Rogers Centre five days a week.
