JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Dunedin Blue Jays are seeking hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individuals who are motivated to make TD Ballpark the most entertaining experience in the Florida Summer League. These positions provide hands-on, live-event experience at the heart of professional baseball, allowing team members to contribute directly to the fan experience while gaining valuable exposure to the fast-paced world of sports entertainment and Major League Baseball operations.  
 
SUMMARY 
 
The Dunedin Blue Jays are seeking dedicated individuals with flexible availability to fill three in-game production roles during the 2026 season.  
 
  1. Camera Operator 
  2. Music Operator 
  3. In-Game Host  
 
All roles require training before individuals are expected to serve independently. On-site training and support will be provided.  
 
Camera Operator  
  • Operate a handheld camera. 
  • Work closely alongside production staff to execute all the in-game entertainment elements, including pre-game, post-game, between innings and game action. 
  • Potential to assist with graphic creation, video editing, and other production-related broadcast tasks. 
 
Music Operator 
  • Operate the audio board and play music on gamedays. 
  • Learn and utilize Click Effects music software to play pre-game soundtrack, sound effects, and walk-up music. 
  • Operate a Yamaha Mixer.  
 
In-Game Host  
  • Host selected pregame/postgame events. 
  • Execute pre-game and in-game promotions on the videoboard throughout the season. 
  • Read and memorize the script to ensure that all promotions and games are executed flawlessly 
  • Engage and interact with big crowds to entertain and excite fans of all ages. 
 
 
Requirements  
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 games per homestand. Long hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. 
  • Provide 'all hands-on deck' assistance during peak periods and game-day operations, supporting diverse functional areas as needed 
  • Knowledge of baseball is preferred. 
  • Must be a team player and be willing to learn new concepts and processes. 
  • A detailed and thorough knowledge of baseball rules and play. 
  • Maintain professionalism and decorum during the game. 
  • Communicate effectively with other gameday staff, including umpires. 
  • Sit and/or stand for up to 4 hours at a time. 
  • Remain attentive to the game for its entire duration.
