Reporting to the General Manager, this part-time contract position will work closely with the In-Game Entertainment team to host and entertain fans during games at TD Ballpark. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Host selected pregame and postgame events.
  • Execute pre-game and in-game promotions on the videoboard throughout the season - attending pregame meetings.
  • Work independently to study in-game script and work closely with the promotions team to brief fans beforehand for a seamless execution. 
  • Read and memorize scripting to ensure that all promotions and games are executed flawlessly. 
  • Work alongside the promo team to choose fans and execute games sponsored by partners.
  • Engage and interact with big crowds to entertain and excite fans of all ages.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and ad lib on short notice.
  • Stay up-to-date on Blue Jays news and events. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College education preferred in Marketing, Journalism, and/or Radio and Television Arts.
  • Must be available to work all games and non-gameday events as needed.
  • Must be able to provide a demo reel.
  • Promotions or Broadcast experience is a necessity. 
  • Previous experience working on-stage and hosting live events. 
  • Exceptional oral communication skills.
  • On-air experience is crucial with a passion to interact with fans of all ages.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Toronto Blue Jays, the game of baseball, current players, and alumni.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong on-camera/mic presence.
