The Pineville Porcupines, proud members of the Old North State League, are a summer collegiate baseball team based in Pineville, North Carolina. The team is looking for the next leaders in sports management to join their team for the summer. Interns must be a current student in an Athletic Training program with preference given to final year students first. This is a non-paid, for college credit or work experience position.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Evaluate, treat and document injuries
- Provide pre-game, in-game and post-game coverage and treatments
- Set up and teardown of all game equipment
- All other duties as assigned by the training and coaching staff
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong work ethic in working with athletes and all assigned task
- Ability to work independently with a focus on improving athletic training skills
- Communicate effectively with coaches, players and training staff
- Current Athletic Training student with preference to a final year student
