Hours: Variable; evenings, weekends, and event days required

Position Overview

The Ticket Operations Intern will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of ticket sales and fan engagement throughout the summer season. This position offers hands-on experience in ticket operations, sales, and event management while working directly with fans in both game-day and community settings.

This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in sports management, business, marketing, or related fields who are seeking real-world experience for college credit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate ticket sales at the gate during events and games

  • Scan and validate tickets to ensure smooth entry for guests

  • Sell tickets at off-site sponsorship activations, tabling events, and community appearances

  • Engage with fans in a professional, outgoing, and customer-focused manner

  • Accurately handle cash and digital ticket transactions

  • Assist with general ticket operations and fan experience initiatives as needed, help in other areas as needed.

  • Represent the organization positively at all public-facing events

Compensation

  • This is an unpaid internship intended for college credit

  • Commission is earned based on sales, providing performance-based income opportunities

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable interacting with the public and working in fast-paced environments

  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and outdoor events

  • Interest in sports, ticketing, sales, or event operations preferred
