The Wichita Wind Surge, Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, arrived on the MiLB scene at Equity Bank Park in 2021 with a state-of-the-art facility nestled in the heart of downtown Wichita. With a commitment to community outreach, the Wind Surge are a centerpiece of the Wichita sports scene. The Wind Surge are a proud member Club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.

Position Overview
The Manager, Marketing plays a key role in the development and execution of marketing initiatives that drive fan engagement, ticket sales, and brand awareness, with a strong emphasis on graphic design and visual storytelling. This role works closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-departmental teams to concept, design, and deliver creative assets for digital, print, and in-venue use, while managing content and ensuring consistent branding across all marketing channels. The ideal candidate brings a high level of creativity, organization, and collaboration, with the ability to take ownership of design-driven projects from concept through execution, and is comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
·       Assist in developing and implementing the team’s marketing plan, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and platforms.
·       Play an active role in the concepting, creation, and execution of graphic design assets for digital, print, and in-venue use, including advertisements, social media graphics, email visuals, signage, and promotional materials.
·       Collaborate with internal departments to design creative assets that support ticket sales, partnerships, retail, and special events.
·       Coordinate marketing budgets and track expenses, helping to monitor ROI on campaigns.
·       Support external communications including press releases, email marketing, and team updates, ensuring visuals align with messaging and brand standards.
·       Work with local partners to coordinate marketing initiatives and grassroots efforts, including the design and customization of co-branded marketing materials.
·       Assist in planning and executing traditional and digital advertising schedules, including hands-on design work and creative coordination.
·       Contribute to the creation of social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional content with a strong emphasis on engaging, on-brand visual content.
·       Collaborate with the creative and game presentation teams on design, video, and in-game elements to maintain a consistent look and feel throughout the fan experience.
·       Assist in identifying marketing trends, fan engagement opportunities, and emerging design styles or technologies to enhance marketing strategies.
·       Support marketing efforts for ticket sales initiatives, sponsorship activations, retail promotions, and community events.
·       Help coordinate game-day entertainment elements, including music, video board content, graphics, and in-game promotions.
·       Assist with promotional schedule planning, ordering, creative proofing, and distribution of giveaway items.
·       Track and report on advertising performance and fan engagement metrics, providing insights to improve future creative efforts.
·       Participate in market research efforts, including in-stadium and digital surveys.
·       Contribute to database growth and email list-building initiatives.
·       Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
·       Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
·       2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
·       Demonstrated graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing digital and print work.
·       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
·       Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
·       Familiarity with SEO, social media marketing, and analytics tools.
·       Creative thinker with strong writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
·       Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
