The Tulsa Drillers are seeking a Promotions & Merchandise Intern for the 2026 season! This 9-month internship works within the Marketing, Promotions & Merchandise Departments. Within the Promotions department you will assist with Game Day experience and helping to entertain fans from the time they step inside the ballpark.  In Merchandise, you will assist in all things sports retail. In this role you will develop as a professional in sports, sharpen your communication, organizational skills and use your knowledge and passion to enhance the ONEOK Field experience.

Position Overview:
The Tulsa Drillers Promotions & Merchandise Internship is an in-person position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is a key member of the Promotions and Merchandise team to ensure great customer service to all fans along with the ability to work quickly and with time restraints and still maintaining a positive attitude.  

Merchandise Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  •  Official Team Store Game Operation & Official Team Store Daily Operation (M-F, 10am-5pm)
  •  Receiving Inventory Deliveries
  •  Stocking all Merchandise Outlets at ONEOK Field
  • Store Displays
  • Managing Online Store Content
  • Order Fulfillment for online orders
  • Hiring, Training and Managing of Game Day Employees
  • Part time Employee Scheduling and Payroll
  • Opening & Closing Procedures including Daily Game Reporting
  • Delivering a High Level of Customer Service

 Promotions Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  •  Promotional Calendar Implementation
  • Purchasing/receiving promotional materials for event nights
  • Maintaining and updating promotional Calendar
  • Maintaining and updating the promotional schedule on website
  • Promotional Communications to local media outlets
  • Promotional Item Distribution on game days 
  • Managing Game-Day Staff
  • Implementation of On-Field Contests 

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Participating in Tickets sales for Pre-Game Performances, National Anthem Groups, Birthday’s and more. 
     - A strong desire to reach a sales goal is a plus! 
  • Assisting with game operations, promotions, marketing efforts, pocket schedule deliveries, special projects and more. 

 Desired Qualifications:
  •  Passion for baseball and general knowledge of the sport- we want you to love what you do!
  •  Experience in marketing: copywrite skills, creativity, eye for detail, and brand identity utilization.
  • The ability to self-initiate, multi-task, maintain pace, and pivot when needed.
  •  Communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
  •  Above all - positivity and the willingness to lead, grow and learn alongside your team.
 
 Time Frame: January 5, 2026- September 15, 2026

Compensation: $475 per week for all hours worked up to 40 hours. Your hourly rate for this position is $11.88 per hour. You will receive an additional 0.5 times (or additional “half time”) rate for each hour worked beyond 40 in the workweek as defined under the fluctuating workweek criteria in the Fair Labor Standards Act. For any weeks you work under 40 hours, we will always pay you 40 hours under the criteria.

 Hours: 8:30am – 5pm on non-game days & 10am - approx. 10pm on Game Days.

The Tulsa Drillers are the Double-A Affiliate of the 9x World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. ONEOK Field is the home of the Drillers, a state-of-the-art stadium in the heart of downtown Tulsa. The Tulsa Drillers won the Texas League Championship in 2018, and the Texas League Double-A Organization of the Year award in 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2020.
