Who We Are: The Springfield Cardinals are the Double-A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and the 2025 Texas League Champions. We play our home games at Hammons Field in Springfield, Missouri.
The Position: The Direct Sales Representative (DSR) position is a part-time, seasonal commissioned sales position that serves a sales and marketing capacity for the Springfield Cardinals. The main objectives of the position are to drive revenue for the organization and develop future full-time team members with an immersive, well-rounded experience as a minor league baseball sales representative. DSRs contribute in the following ways:
• Selling Group Outings/Tickets
• Selling Season Membership Plans
• Selling Group Party Decks, Picnics & Other Food/Beverage Packages
• Selling Game-Day Luxury Suites
• Promoting the Cardinals at Community Events
• Sponsorship Fulfillment
• Box Office Operations as needed
• Promotions
• Public/Client Relations
• Customer Service
• Ticket & Other Deliveries
• Special Projects/Special Events/Community Service Projects
• Other Duties as Assigned
The Ideal Candidate will have a desire to build a foundation for a career in professional sports with some schooling and/or experience to back that up. Sales experience is welcomed, but not required. Top desired traits are a positive attitude, tenacity and a willingness to learn. We’re looking for people who are steady, dependable and thrive on friendly competition.
Compensation: Hourly plus commission on all Membership, Group and Hospitality sales, plus opportunities for other incentives and free tickets to any game when not working.

Hours: Variable. Generally 16-20 hours per week between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Hours may vary based on the employee’s availability, weekly schedule and the staffing needs of the organization. DSRs will work some evening and weekend games in various capacities and represent the Cardinals at community events at various times outside of office hours.
