Summary of Responsibilities:
The Ticket Services Coordinator has the primary responsibility of supporting daily ticketing tasks for the Springfield Cardinals.
This position will work with other part-time and full-time staff to coordinate ticket operation functions, including part-time scheduling, payroll approval, oversight of front desk and ticket office operations, some reporting, inventory management and providing an efficient and organized working area.
This position is located in Springfield, MO with the AA Springfield Cardinals. All work will take place on site as it relates to scheduled events with the ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend events.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Coordinate with part-time front desk and ticket office staff for scheduling, payroll approval and oversight of daily operations.
Work with the Directors and Managers of Ticket Sales & Operations to answer questions, complete administrative tasks such as invoicing, comp ticket distribution including scouts, staff and sponsors. This position will also assist in programming events in the primary ticketing software, Tickets.com, and others integrations as needed, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting ticketing equipment.
Work as the initial Customer Service contact to address customer concerns and work to resolve any ticketing, payment or login issues as they arise. This will also include working directly with Members who need assistance with specific member benefits and directly related to maintaining a good relationship and quality control with our customers.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of promotional items for distribution to customers and corporate clients.
Responsible for daily revenue deposits by balancing and reconciling payments from ticket sales staff of all departments
Education and Experience Required:
Previous experience working in college or professional sports with strong organizational skills, time management in a fast- pace environment and the ability to multi-task efficiently is required. Experience in ticketing event software is required with preference given to those with exposure to the Tickets.com ProVenue and FEVO platforms..
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); good written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with interest in pursuing a career in the Sports & Entertainment field.
1+ years of experience as full-time or part-time staff for a collegiate/professional sports or entertainment venue or other related industry with some supervisory experience.
1+ years of experience with the Tickets.com ProVenue ticketing software and working knowledge of other third party platforms that integrate to increase ticket sales.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
