Seasonal Operations Position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Stadium Operations
·         Assist with daily stadium operations, including (but not limited to) routine building maintenance, landscaping, cleaning oversight, and Lazy River upkeep.

·         Support the planning, set-up, execution, and breakdown of all stadium events throughout the season.

·         Assist in the daily management and oversight of game day staff.

·         Provide support to other departments as needed.

·         Manage and maintain positive relationships with vendors for ballpark improvement projects and daily operational needs.

·         Contribute to problem solving, project planning, and execution of departmental goals and objectives.

·         Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to ensure proper set-up for each event.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Parking Operations

·         Staff parking lots for game days and special events

·         Training game day staff

·         Securing parking lots midday and end of night

·         Greet all arriving and departing guests of Riders Field in a friendly and professional manner.

·         Provide excellent customer service with a positive, helpful attitude.

·         Direct vehicles and pedestrian traffic flow to designated areas.

·         Assist guests with directions, ballpark information, and general inquiries.

·         Monitor parking lots to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and vehicles.

·         Address guest comments and complaints promptly; escalate issues to the General Manager as needed.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Expectations & Qualifications

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Basic knowledge of tools preferred but not required.

·         Desire to build a career in the sports or events industry.

·         Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

·         Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

·         Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

·         Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·         Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

·         Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·         Commitment to excellent customer service.

·         Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

·         Ability to represent the Frisco RoughRiders professionally at community and business functions.

Additional Information
This is a seasonal, hands-on position that provides valuable experience in both stadium operations and parking/guest services. Tasks and responsibilities will vary and evolve throughout the season. The list above is a representative sample, not all-encompassing.
