Who are the Frisco RoughRiders?
We are the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers and are located 20 miles north of Dallas. Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in America and one of the top markets in the USA. The RoughRiders play at Riders Field, where our offices are based.
About the Role:
The Seasonal Inside Sales & Service Representative position focuses on outbound phone calls as well as servicing existing season ticket holder accounts. The candidate will have the ability to sell a full menu of ticket packages, but will have an emphasis in selling season ticket plans and flex plans to single game purchasers. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days. The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of daily outbound sales activities.
This program is designed to launch careers in the sports industry by providing hands-on sales experience, professional development, and the tools needed to grow into future leadership opportunities. This position is a seasonal, salaried job with paid time off. The role will begin in August of 2026 and continue through September of 2027.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales of Frisco RoughRiders ticket inventory. The Seasonal Inside Sales and Service role focuses on:
- Identifying quality candidates to pursue for season tickets, flex plans or group outings.
- Providing excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.
- Building & maintaining relationships with customers and potential clients.
- Achieve monthly and yearly revenue goals set forth by Manager.
- Perform daily responsibilities through outbound efforts via phone and email.
- Call requirements vary from 70 - 100 daily depending on time of year.
- Perform game-day responsibilities including client entertainment and working select game shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organized & strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the sales process and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
- Ability to work alongside a team & be a team player
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous experience in sales or sports industry preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- This role will have responsibilities to work outdoors during Summer months in Texas.
