Job Summary: 
The Frisco RoughRiders are looking for an Entertainment Assistant who is highly motivated with exceptional people skills to be an integral part of the RoughRiders marketing team, focusing on pushing the brand forward.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, the entertainment assistant will be responsible for creating a high energy experience for fans as they attend RoughRiders games. This is a seasonal (January until October) role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Host RoughRiders game and bring high energy and a positive attitude to enhance the RoughRiders gameday experience

·      Assist in leading RoughRiders gameday entertainment CREW during all RoughRiders home games

·      Help create in-game activations that keep fans entertained and engaged throughout RoughRiders games

·      Assist in game entertainment scripting, ideation, and more

·      Assist in leading the Riders’ street team at community appearances and grassroots events

·      Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling of entertainment/street team staff

·      Performs other duties as assigned

·      Must have valid Driver’s License 

·      This role requires comfort with public speaking, improvisation, and engaging large crowds

·      Performance or theater background a plus

·      Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players. 

·      Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work grassroots events, all RoughRiders home games, and complete office hours 

·      Must be willing to work weekends and nights as most grassroots events take place on weekends and nights 

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

·      Must be a high-energy, detail-oriented team player  

·      Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
