The Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A, Texas Rangers) are accepting applications for a Seasonal Photography and Design Assistant.
 
 About the position:
The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and are located in Frisco, Texas (about 25 miles north of downtown Dallas) within the largest media market in Minor League Baseball. The best candidate will have a passion for photography and graphic design, a drive to succeed and a comfortability with working in a fast-paced, team-based environment. This is a seasonal (January until October) role.

Responsibilities: 
·       Collaborate on and create graphic designs and layout elements for print, digital and electronic marketing and advertising, sponsorable elements, digital and social media, website, merchandise and other products ensuring all materials are completed in a professional and timely manner utilizing Adobe Cloud Services (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 

·      Assist Marketing department in the creation of graphics; executing marketing campaigns and sales promotions through visual assets; coordinate with multiple departments, including Sales, Sponsorships and Community Relations on creative needs. 

·       Adhere to brand imaging standards, ensuring consistency in look and feel. 

·       Serves as a team photographer for all Frisco RoughRiders home games, as well as events for the Frisco RoughRiders Foundation and Riders Field events

·       Works closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and members of the marketing team in developing creative concepts that are consistent across all platforms  

·       Ensures brand integrity through the overseeing of diligent use, direction and application of brand guidelines 

·       Brainstorms and partners in the creative development for larger campaigns

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
·       Post-secondary education in design or a related major or comparable work experience with a portfolio or samples of work to present; experience in sports and entertainment is a plus  

·       Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator 

·       Proficient knowledge of camera equipment   

·       Ability to work beyond normal business hours, including but not limited to nights, weekends and select holidays is required 

·       Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating experience 

·       Strong ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines 

·       Familiarity with printing and production processes is necessary. 

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

·       Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and team player
