The Amarillo Sod Poodles are looking for a Creative Manager to lead the team’s visual identity and brand presence. This is a full-time role that will be at the center of how our team looks, feels, and connects with fans. From social media graphics and in-game content to marketing campaigns and community initiatives, this role drives the creative look of the Sod Poodles brand across all platforms.

We’re searching for someone who thrives in design and branding, brings fresh ideas to the table, and can transform concepts into bold, eye-catching visuals that tell the Sod Poodles’ story.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Design & Branding
    • Develop and design creative assets that maintain and evolve the Sod Poodles’ brand identity across all touchpoints.
    • Establish consistent design standards for marketing, digital, print, in-game, and promotional materials.
  • Graphic Design & Content Creation
    • Create engaging graphics for social media, website, advertising, email, and ballpark entertainment.
    • Produce flyers, posters, banners, sponsorship mockups, and other marketing collateral.
    • Support video and motion graphics projects with branded design elements.

  • Brand Storytelling & Campaigns
    • Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, partnerships, and community departments to bring campaigns to life through visual storytelling.
    • Contribute to content calendars, brainstorm creative concepts, and ensure every project reflects the Sod Poodles brand voice.

  • Photography, Videography & Content Capture
    • Assist with game day and event photography, video shoots, and interviews as needed.
    • Provide creative direction on how visuals are used across platforms.

  • Collaboration & Game Day Support
    • Work alongside marketing and entertainment staff to deliver high-quality in-game and digital fan experiences.
    • Contribute ideas during creative meetings and manage projects from start to finish.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Graphic Design & Branding
    • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work, branding projects, and campaign development.
    • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required; Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus).

  • Content & Digital Skills
    • Photography and/or videography knowledge strongly preferred.
    • Motion graphics and copywriting abilities a plus.

  • Professional Attributes
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field preferred.
    • 2 years of experience in design, marketing, or related creative field.
    • Strong communicator with sharp attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
    • Positive team player willing to collaborate across all departments.
    • Passion for sports, baseball, and fan engagement.
