The Texas Rangers are looking for a Social Media & Content Intern to join our team! This season long role will support the creation of Rangers Sports Network content to be used on air and on social media, assist in content shoots, and game-day social media management. The intern will be a hands-on, all-access team member with exposure to what goes into creating content for live sporting events and digital platforms. This role combines technical organization, media handling, editing, and operational support to ensure smooth production, efficient content delivery, and well-maintained production environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assist the Social Media manager with game-day content and editing needs.

  • Support live editing and posting during games as needed.

  • Assist with updating game template graphics.

  • Perform intermediate level editing for on-air features and in-game social media needs.

  • Assist in production and setting up multi-camera shoots such as interviews, interactive shoots, etc.

  • Own logging of highlights during the game for later use.

  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Available from April to November 2026 for 30-40 hours a week.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.

  • Previous experience working in sports social media or live production role.

  • Proficient in Adobe Create Cloud (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).

  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, live-production environment.

  • Ability to work on their feet for extended periods of times and able to lift 10-15 lbs.

  • Repetitive motions (typing, scrolling).

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions when attending events or shooting content.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as required by the baseball and event schedule.
