Part-Time Announcer 
Hours: 6 – 8
Pay: $7.25/HR

Job Description:
  • Announce all promotions, introduce players and correctly pronounce team personnel and sponsor names.
  • Troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly.
  • Work with community members of all ages and abilities as well as other staff members.
  • Be courteous, friendly, reliable, and punctual.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work at least 50 games including Opening Day and July 3rd.
  • Ability to multitask, keep track of player changes and game progress and have a good understanding of the game of baseball.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional speaking voice with high energy and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.
  • Must be able to lift, pull push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary.
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of baseball is necessary.
  • Team player.
