JOB SUMMARY:

The Texas Rangers are seeking a motivated and dedicated Intern, Youth Academy, to support operations at the Rangers Youth Academy. This role offers hands-on experience assisting with tournaments, camps, clinics, and various community events while working closely with the Youth Academy staff.

This internship runs from May through September and requires a minimum commitment of at least 20 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist with daily Texas Rangers Youth Academy Training Programs, field preparations, registration/check  in, and support coaches as needed.

• Serve as the onsite point of contact during RBI games as needed, working closely with RBI Field Coordinators on gameday execution.

• Assist with concession stand operations, managing supplies and inventory, and organizing facilities as needed.

• Assist with execution of education programs: Science of Baseball, Angels in the Outfield, etc.

•  Assist with special events such as Pitch, Hit & Run, Academy Signing Day, NIKE RBI Regionals, Academy tryouts.

• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work from May through September, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 pounds.

• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus.
