Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 
  • Provides operations support for Guest Services at Globe Life Field and Globe Life Park
  • Scheduling of staff for non-baseball events at Globe Life Park and Globe Life Field
  • Serves as Event Coordinator for events at Globe Life Park and Globe Life Field, as needed
  • Assists with recruitment and hiring of Guest Services game day staff
  • Assists with scheduling and payroll for Guest Services seasonal staff
  • Assists with development and maintenance of Guest Guide and Ballpark Reference Guide
  • Assists with Customer Service Training at employee orientation
  • Coordinates and documents employee cross training program
  • Quality Control of Customer Service related areas
  • Coordinates and documents standard operating procedures for department
  • Coordinates and documents employee procedures training programs
  • Coordinates and documents employee cross training program
  • Generates post-game/post-event reports
  • Coordinates Designated Driver program
  • Coordinates Service Second to None employee recognition program
  • Creates analytics reports, as needed
  • Coordinates TEAM training and seasonal employee events with HR
  • Assists with coordination of staffing and operation of Lost & Found
  • Coordinates shred services for Globe Life Park and Globe Life Field
  • Recommends/develops/implements initiatives to enhance customer service and the fan experience
  • Assists the manager with data collection
  • Answers and responds to the guest service inquires and complaints
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all stakeholders, to include internal departments, season ticket holders, and outside clients and vendors
  • Must be well organized and possess excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 year degree in Business, Hospitality, Communication, Sports Management or related field of study
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a guest service role and/or supervising staff at a similar facility
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends.
