The Manager, Partnership Solutions plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and insight across the Corporate Partnerships department. This position serves as the strategic connector between the Sales and Services teams, ensuring that partnership operations, reporting, and activations are executed at the highest level. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Salesforce reporting and analytics to help the department make informed business decisions, streamline workflows, and elevate partner experiences. This role also oversees third-party vendor relationships, department reporting infrastructure, and all hospitality events, while managing a team of three Partnership Coordinators.
Responsibilities
Employee’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Serve as the Salesforce and Tableau reporting and analytics lead for the Corporate Partnerships department and work directly with the organization’s Analytics team to design, build, and maintain dashboards and custom reports that track revenue, sales pipeline, asset delivery, inventory management, partner performance, and renewal forecasting.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all partnership-related data within Salesforce and other internal tracking systems.
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership summarizing key metrics, sales pacing, and activation fulfillment.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and mentor a team of three Partnership Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee daily workflows, prioritize projects, and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of partner deliverables.
- Engage in the Rays and Rowdies employee-first culture by working well with others and participating in team building events.
- Cross-Function Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between the Corporate Partnerships department and other internal and external units—including Marketing, Game Presentation, Ticketing, Operations, Community Engagement and the MLB League Office—to ensure partnership deliverables are executed efficiently and creatively.
- Collaborate with Sales and Services teams to develop and refine partnership fulfillment processes and tools.
- Assist sales and services teams with prospecting, sales deck creation, sales pitches and partnership recap reports.
- Manage proposal catalogue materials incorporating on-going updates to data and visuals
- Ability to fulfill gameday activation duties, such as serving as the department representative during the duration of games to assist with partner tabling, presentations, in-ballpark visits, and more
- Vendor & Hospitality Oversight
- Oversee the planning and execution of premier corporate partner hospitality events designed to foster and build relationships with key partner contacts and stakeholders
- Manage third party analytics programs, such as Relo Metrics, YouGov, Agile Media & Sponsor United
- Manage all third-party vendor relationships related to signage, production, hospitality, gifting, and event services.
- Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality execution.
- Industry Knowledge & Strategic Insight
- Serve as a funnel for industry insights, identifying partnership trends, category developments, and asset innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to help inform prospecting strategies and develop compelling new inventory or partnership solutions based on market trends.
- Fulfill special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in sports partnerships, sponsorship activation, or client services.
- Demonstrated success managing team members and vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM, data visualization, or reporting tools.
- Proven experience working with or alongside sports marketing agencies (e.g., AEG, Legends) or contributing to large-scale initiatives such as new venue or ballpark efforts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership and clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days as needed.
