The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a Groundskeeper to assists in the maintenance of the ball field complex and landscaping surrounding the Charlotte Sports Park.
Responsibilities
- Groundskeeper is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the Charlotte Sports Park ball fields and landscaping.
- Work with the foreman to ensure all field conditions are up to MLB standards.
- Maintain good working relationships with all fellow crew members.
- Maintenance includes mowing, edging, string trimming, clay work, game prep and working games.
- All other duties assigned by Charlotte Sports Park Foreman and Director of Field Operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Must be able to lift items (50 lbs.) and carry cargo.
- Ability to operate turf related equipment (i.e., tractors, mowers, edgers, aerifiers, paint machine)
