Job Description:
The St. Louis Cardinals baseball club is seeking certified athletic trainers to join our sports medicine team in a collaborative, athlete-centered approach that prioritizes long-term development, health, and performance. This full-time, seasonal position will assist our current group of medical providers in Jupiter, Florida, for the 2026 season as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes sports medicine, performance coaches, performance science, registered dietetics, and mental health and performance staff. The primary responsibility is to help provide comprehensive medical care at our training complex, spring training, Florida Complex League (FCL), and instructional league, working closely with the integrated support team to ensure optimal athlete outcomes and sustainable career development.

Job Duties:
  • Implement and direct medical care to players and staff within the outlined scope
  • Implement injury prevention programs in collaboration with appropriate staff. Communicate progress, issues, plans, etc. for each player to appropriate parties to ensure consistency
  • Maintain daily communication during the season with the FCL manager and other uniform staff as appropriate, along with close interaction with the performance coaches to ensure consistency with workload monitoring and programming
  • Maintain consistent communication with Assistant Director, Performance, MiLB Medical Coordinator, MiLB Assistant Medical Coordinator, and, as needed, regarding progress and development of the minor league medical process at the complex

Education/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine or related field, or a combination of years of experience and education
  • Current ATC certification
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education/Experience Preferred:
  • CSCS certification
  • 2+ years of experience working with professional athletes in a team setting
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and familiarity with data integration into programming
  • Bilingual in Spanish
