Description
The Montgomery Biscuits are offering a season-long part-time position in our Marketing Department. The Mascot Performer will serve as the primary performer for the 2026 season and assist in the execution of a variety of events at DABOS Park and around the Montgomery community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform as Big Mo during Biscuits home games and in the surrounding areas for various functions and events
- Demonstrate and maintain Biscuits brand standards while serving as an ambassador of the brand
- Provide a fun, entertaining and positive experience by interacting and engaging with all guests during activations, events, and games.
- Promote the Biscuits by creating a positive and exciting atmosphere while interacting with fans and sponsors.
- Assist with additional Biscuits grassroots and marketing events as needed
Required skills, experience & abilities
- Ability to work majority of Biscuits home games
- Previous mascot performance preferred (collegiate/professional)
- Must be a minimum of 19 years of age
- Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population, including strong and confident verbal communication skills. Customer service experience a plus
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of the Biscuits and prior marketing experience preferred
- Dependable transportation to and from appearances
- The ability to think and work in a creative atmosphere and share ideas openly
- Must be between 5'10" and 6'2" to fit into costume
