Position Overview
The Knoxville Smokies are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and team-focused Box Office Assistant to join our Box Office and Sales Team for the 2027 season. This role will support the Box Office by assisting with ticket sales, customer service, and day-to-day game operations while helping create a smooth and exciting fan experience. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Box Office and Ticket Sales departments.
- Become proficient in SCORE CRM and Ticketmaster Ticketing.
- Assist fans at the Box Office, Will Call, and with inbound sales calls on game days.
- Help manage game day Box Office staff.
- Fulfill all season ticket, mini plan, and specialty ticket plan orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to season ticket, mini plan, and group accounts.
- Serve as the liaison between the Ticket Sales team and the Box Office.
- Generate new business by selling season tickets, group outings, and hospitality areas.
- Upsell ticket packages and seating options at the Box Office window.
- Run daily financial reports and other required sales and operational reports.
- Assist with ticketing operations for Appalachian League teams within the Boyd Sports organization.
- Assist with a variety of game day operational duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
