The Office Manager will provide high-level customer service and administrative support to the Lookouts and Erlanger Park Front Office, Part-Time and Seasonal staff. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule, organize and attend job fairs and orientation for part-time and seasonal staff
  • Main point of contact for hiring seasonal employees
  • Onboard new employees (new hire paperwork, assign employee numbers and maintain clock in system, 7shifts)
  • Review and upload part-time and seasonal payroll
  • Answer and direct phone calls from front desk
  • Maintain office inventory and ordering of office supplies
  • Maintain incident logs for Worker’s Compensation policy, and OSHA, etc. 
  • Initiate problem solving strategies with higher levels of management
  • Contribute to the daily workflow of the finance department 
  • Assist with staff questions regarding HR, compensation, benefits questions, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
The applicant should be a self-motivator who thrives in a team environment; possesses good analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to work effectively with attention to detail in a high-volume sales environment; ability to communicate clearly and resolve guest conflicts; goal oriented; quick learner; proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to lift up to Twenty Five (25) pounds.

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
 
The Office Manager may be asked to attend community events such as school visits. The candidate will also be required to be knowledgeable about the happenings of the Lookouts’ season and well versed in Chattanooga Lookouts’ history.
